Il mio En Plain air
Since 2024 I have gone out into nature to paint. The brightest colour returns to me, in silence, with no trace of a plan; I bring a prepared, dry ground with me (I never work directly on the canvas). Like a wayfarer I carry all my painting materials, and I contemplate, I listen to what is outside and inside me, I let everything flow. I take inspiration and listen to the whispers; my soul speaks in images, and so my visualisations begin, in that listening, without fear of losing what I had reached before… I let my hands go, and they will tell me later what has emerged… I become life that flows…

Willow
I love trees, they are wonderful creatures. Above all the weeping willow, which reaches its branches down until they touch the water and tells me the worth of a single instant. It gazes at the river endlessly, yet that is not enough for it… it would like to touch the drops of water, it loves them and wants to know them, but these moments are alive only ever in a stolen caress, for an instant that has already passed.

In 2018 I sense the great changes: with Vaia a phase begins that will stay with me until 2024, and this period is best represented by my:
Gli Trees in the wind,
they were born in me after the devastating Vaia storm of 2018. Seeing stretches of woodland levelled by gusts of 200 kilometres an hour shocked me; but then, looking more closely, in the devastation some of those heroes had held out! Standing firm, anchored by their mighty roots, they had managed to adapt, even by letting all their leaves go — but they are alive! Soaring into the sky to prove in fact that even in the hardest trial there is the chance of making it! And so they are my heroes! And I dedicate them to everyone who has had to weather their own storms in life.
Covid in 2020 changed everything…
Canvas painted in the first months of lockdown, a first reaction to the violent campaign of fear that destabilised our society. exhibited at the M.U.P.A of Torre di Mosto, in the group show "colori della vita"

Up to the sky
A work that holds all of my poetics, in which the softness of the landscape merges with the sky in a rhythm that almost becomes sound. The vertical elements are important and decisive: they recall simplified trunks whose generative function carries up to the sky the energies created on the earth with hope and faith. My representation of the vibration of prayers and dreams generated on earth.

Chasing the Moon
In coppia con “guardando il sole” questa tela definisce il femminile che fluttua come la marea e che diviene incomprensibile a chi non contempla la luna. Appare così “insicura “ e misteriosa questa creatura che fluttua con sorella luna.
